Résumé

This paper explores the concept of coopetition, introduced in the 1980s, which combines the advantages of competition and cooperation. It examines the motivations for cooperation, situations of global coopetition, and approaches to understanding the variety of demands. Despite the potential benefits, it highlights the tensions and paradoxes inherent in cooperation and competition.

Focusing on the adoption of Blockchain technology in the financial industry, this contribution highlights, from a documentary approach combined with collected use cases, the opportunities and challenges linked to the adoption of this approach, highlighting the importance of coopetition positioning of Blockchain ecosystem players and the involvement of national and international regulators for the development of Blockchain technology projects.
