Abstract

In the current global economic downturn, the top priority for Moroccan companies is to improve their competitiveness. To achieve this, innovation strategies are considered an effective lever.

The results collected during the empirical part of the innovation strategy and its human and material factors, from a sample of 45 SMEs of the Tangier-Tetouan axis show that the human factors of the innovation strategy favour the deployment of the material factors of innovation, which are strongly correlated to a successful innovation strategy. Finally, the impact of the latter appears significant on the competitiveness of Moroccan SMEs.
